Our client is an organization in the Milwaukee area looking for an Tax Manager. Our client is looking for someone with 4+ years of experience, driven, and has excellent interpersonal skills. This company offers visibility, a close-knit team, and competitive benefits. This position is hybrid.

 

The salary for this position is $120k – $160k + bonus.

 

The Tax Manager will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage the preparation and review of internally and externally prepared federal, state, and local tax returns, estimates, extensions, etc.
  • Assist with other tax projects such as tax research, tax planning, forecasts and credits
  • Review tax compliance calendar to ensure all filings are completed timely
  • Identify and implement tax process improvements; support non-tax improvement efforts
  • Assist with federal, state and local tax audits and tracks status
  • Prepare financial statement reconciliations
  • Other duties as assigned

 

The Tax Manager will possess the following:

 

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, CPA a plus
  • 4+ years of experience with a public accounting firm or publicly traded company.
  • 1+ years of supervisory or management experience.
  • Experience with Microsoft office; CorpTax, Research Software, OneStream, SharePoint, D365
  • Organize and prioritize multiple and simultaneous projects and assignments
  • Ability to work additional hours as required to meet deadlines
  • Some travel may be required
