Our client is an organization in the Madison area looking for a Division Controller. This company is looking for someone with 4+ years of accounting experience, strong organizational skills, and who enjoys project tasks. This position is a roll up your sleeves with no day being the same!
The Division Controller will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for financial reporting for assigned entities and divisions within the company.
- Organize workflow and ensure that employees understand duties.
- Set goals for performance and deadlines.
- Be an active member of the accounting team to prepare financial statements, business activity reports, financial position forecasts, annual budgets and reports.
- Responsible for cost accrual
- Other duties as needed.
The Division Controller will possess the following:
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or closely related field
- 4+ years of accounting experience.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills with great attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
