Director of Finance
Our client is an organization in the Milwaukee area looking for a Director of Finance. This client is looking for someone with 10+ years of experience, non-profit experience, and CPA.
The salary range for this role is $100k-110k.
The Director of Finance will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
RESPONSIBILITIES
Financial Management & Strategy
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes across multiple entities.
- Monitor cash flow, financial risk, and P&L performance to support sustainable growth.
- Advise senior leadership on long-term financial strategy, risk management, and investment decisions.
- Support M&A activity, including due diligence, financial assessments, and post-acquisition integration.
Accounting Operations
- Oversee all accounting activities, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, revenue recognition, inventory, costing, and expense management.
- Ensure timely and accurate preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Consolidate financials across entities and deliver clear reporting packages to executive leadership.
- Partner with internal and external auditors, tax advisors, and consultants to maintain compliance with regulatory requirements.
Treasury & Systems Oversight
- Manage treasury operations, including daily cash management, intercompany funding, credit facilities, and foreign currency exposure.
- Maintain and strengthen banking relationships across regions.
- Evaluate and optimize ERP and financial systems to support scalability, accuracy, and efficiency in reporting and operations.
Leadership & Team Developments
- Supervise and mentor a team of accounting and finance professionals across multiple locations.
- Establish and enforce financial policies, procedures, and internal controls across all entities.
- Drive continuous improvement in processes and reporting to support evolving business needs.
The Director of Finance will possess the following:
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or closely related field.
- 10+ years of related finance experience.
- CPA required.
- Highly analytical, organized, and detail oriented.
- Excellent leadership skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
