Credit Analyst
Our client is an organization in the Milwaukee area looking for a Credit Analyst. Our client is looking for someone with 2+ years of AR experience, strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. This company offers great work-life balance, growth opportunities and a hybrid work environment.
The salary range for this position is $60k-65k + bonus.
The Credit Analyst will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Process accounts receivable transactions with accuracy and efficiency.
- Record and reconcile customer payments received electronically and via check deposit systems.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve collections and minimize bad debt risks.
- Prepare necessary documentation for contracts/orders under letter of credit payment terms for review and approval.
- Review credit applications from new and existing customers, providing recommendations based on payment history, financial viability, and credit reports.
- Continuously assess customer creditworthiness and adjust risk evaluations as needed.
- Generate reports on accounts receivable aging, credit exposure, and customer payment trends for senior management.
- Collaborate with sales teams to track account status and support collections efforts.
- Ensure compliance with financial reporting controls and contribute to fraud prevention measures.
- Ad hoc projects as needed.
The Credit Analyst will possess the following:
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 2+ years of credit/AR experience
- Excellent analytical skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize and multitask.
