Controller
Our client is an organization in the Waukesha County area that’s looking for a Controller. This company is looking for someone with 8+ years of experience, motivated, and an excellent leader. This company provides high visibility, flexibility, and a collaborative, tenured team. This position is hybrid.
The salary for this job is $120K – $140K.
The Controller will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead, mentor, and manage the Accounting team, fostering accountability and professional development.
- Oversee accounting operations, including credit and collections, payroll, treasury, and employee benefits.
- Maintain financial integrity through robust policies, procedures, internal controls, and asset protection.
- Manage monthly close, financial reporting, and collaboration with FP&A for forecasting, budgeting, and analysis.
- Oversee external audits, tax filings, and regulatory compliance.
- Optimize General Ledger systems and financial processes to improve efficiency and reporting insight.
- Provide actionable financial insights to support strategic business decisions.
- Drive process improvements and continuous improvement initiatives within the Accounting function.
The Controller will possess the following:
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA preferred.
- 8+ years of related experience.
- Exceptional Microsoft Excel and financial modeling skills.
- Advanced proficiency with Sage Intacct.
- Ability to keep up with a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organization, time management, and communication skills.
- Highly motivated team-oriented professional.
