Controller
Our client is an organization in the Milwaukee area that’s looking for a Controller. Our client is looking for someone with 6+ years of experience, organized, and is an excellent leader. The salary for this position is $120K – $150K.
The Controller will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist with cash deposits, reconciliations, change order requests, and other financial transactions.
- Comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.
- Supervise and develop accounts payable team to ensure accurate and timely processing of payments to vendors and service providers.
- Oversee the cycle count inventory processes and annual physical inventories as needed, including year-round training of inventory associates.
- Analyze business transactions and processes as directed for business objectives.
- Research and troubleshoot issues with receipts and duplicate credit card charges.
- Ensure check runs and EFTs are processed timely aligned with support documentation.
- Other duties as assigned.
The Controller will possess the following:
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and minimum of 5 years of corporate business experience.
- Excellent computer skills, including advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including PowerPivot), Experience with MicroStrategy and Microsoft Dynamics GP a plus.
- Strong organization skills with the ability to manage multiple projects efficiently.
- Strong logic, reasoning, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
