Our client is an organization in the Milwaukee area that’s looking for a Controller. This company is looking for someone with 5+ years of experience, excellent leadership skills, and who is highly organized. This company provides flexibility, competitive benefits & PTO, and a fun, collaborative culture. This position is hybrid.

 

The salary for this job is $140K.

 

The Controller will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead month-end close to ensure accurate and timely reporting of business and financial information, in compliance with policies and US GAAP.
  • Develop and maintain financial reporting processes that meet internal and external reporting requirements.
  • Manage daily accounting functions; manage & supervise staff.
  • Perform and review account reconciliations and analysis of financial statements including P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow.
  • Oversee payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and revenue reporting.
  • Support the annual and ongoing financial forecasting activities.
  • Prepare internal reports and analysis on variances on a monthly basis.

 

The Controller will possess the following:

 

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • BA or BS in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA preferred.
  • 5+ years of senior accounting and/or corporate accounting experience.
  • Previous leadership experience.
  • Ability to work independently & prioritize projects with appropriate urgency.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • High level of attention to detail & accuracy.
