Controller
Our client is an organization in the greater Milwaukee area looking for a Controller. This company is looking for someone with manufacturing experience, 7+ years of accounting experience, and excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
The salary range for this position is $120k-150k +bonus.
The Controller will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversee all of the company’s financial activities including budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and financial reporting.
- Collaborate with operations monitor and improve financial performance.
- Participate in financial relationships and assure financial regulatory compliance.
- Create and maintain cash forecast.
- Prepare monthly financial statements.
- Close year-end.
- Prepare and present an analysis of month end results.
- Oversee payroll and inventory cycle count system.
- Ad hoc project as needed.
The Controller will possess the following:
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or closely related field required.
- 7+ years of accounting experience required.
- Experience within the manufacturing industry.
- Job costing experience required.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
