Controller
Our client is an organization in the Milwaukee area looking for a Controller. This company is looking for someone with 8+ years of experience, organized, and excellent leadership skills. This company provides a collaborative culture, high potential with visibility, and flexibility. This position is onsite.
The salary for this job is $180k.
The Controller will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist with capital and expense budgets and forecasts.
- Create demand for the accounting team through driving succession planning and individual development plans.
- Drive process improvements for accounting operations and business processes supporting manufacturing operations and global logistics.
- Drive results for manufacturing operations and logistics by partnering with operational leaders.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, external audit requirements, and regulatory frameworks.
- Provide financial leadership and strategic decision support including operations, engineering, and logistics.
The Controller will possess the following:
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Undergraduate degree in accounting, finance or economics. CPA or CMA preferred.
- 8+ years of relevant accounting and leadership experience. 5+ years of experience in a managerial capacity.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing organization.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Up to 10% travel.
