Our client is an organization in the greater Milwaukee area looking for a CFO. This company is looking for someone with 15+ years of relevant experience, collaborative and has outstanding leadership qualities. This company is a small, growing start up with opportunities to grow business, lead and develop a team!

 

The CFO will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Serve as a strategic advisor to the CEO and leadership team on financial planning, business strategy, growth initiatives, and capital allocation.
  • Lead the development of long-term financial strategy aligned with company objectives.
  • Translate financial data into actionable insights to support decision-making across the organization.
  • Lead acquisition evaluation, including financial analysis, modeling, due diligence, valuation, and integration planning.
  • Develop complex financial models to assess strategic initiatives, investments, and expansion opportunities.
  • Oversee all accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management activities
  • Continuously improve financial processes, controls, and systems to support scale and efficiency.
  • Serve as a strong leader, coach, and mentor to the finance and accounting team, fostering professional growth and development.
  • Ad hoc projects as needed.

 

The CFO will possess the following:

 

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or closely related field preferred.
  • 15+ years of related experience.
  • CPA, highly preferred.
  • FinTech or PE/VC experience highly preferred.
  • Collaborative and takes initiative.
  • Outstanding leadership ability.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
