Our client is an organization in the Fond du Lac County area that’s looking for an Accounts Payable Clerk. Our client is looking for someone with 2+ years of experience, organized, and detail oriented. This company offers a hardworking team, a great work/life balance, and competitive benefits. This position is onsite for the first 6 months, with the possibility of hybrid after.

 

The salary for this position is $23 – $25/hr.

 

The Accounts Payable Clerk will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage high-volume invoice processing using an automated workflow system
  • Ensure accuracy and efficiency throughout the accounts payable cycle
  • Prepare and review invoices for timely payment
  • Process job cost information and verify coding accuracy
  • Execute check runs and print checks
  • Respond to vendor inquiries and resolve payment issues
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth operations
  • Support the implementation of automation and efficiency initiatives

 

The Accounts Payable Clerk will possess the following:

 

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • Bachelors Degree in Accounting or related field
  • 2+ years of related AP experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs, including Excel and Word
  • Experience with Hyland OnBase is preferred
  • Must be able to effectively handle multiple projects simultaneously in a deadline driven environment
  • Excellent interpersonal & communication skills
