Our client is an organization in the Milwaukee area looking for an Accounting & Tax Manager. This company is looking for someone who has 4+ years of accounting tax experience, a strong critical thinker, and high attention to detail. The salary range for this position is $90k-130k.

 

The Accounting & Tax Manager will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist clients with ongoing tax planning.
  • General ledger accounting: journal entries, month-end close, reconciliation.
  • Analyze financial statements and advise clients.
  • Prepare and review business and personal tax returns.
  • Handle new client installations and back work.
  • Serve as primary contact person for a section of clients, ensuring exceptional customer service.
  • Provide advisory services, including business and financial advice, and computer & software support.
  • Other duties and projects as assigned.

 

The Accounting & Tax Manager will possess the following:

 

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.
  • 4+ years of tax accounting experience
  • CPA preferred.
  • Highly motivated, energetic and friendly.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
