Accounting & Tax Manager
Our client is an organization in the Saint Paul area that’s looking for an Accounting & Tax Manager. Our client is looking for someone with 3+ years of experience, motivated, and analytical. This company offers a tenured team, flexibility, and is a thriving organization. This position is onsite.
The salary for this position is $70k – $100k.
The Accounting & Tax Manager will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, maintaining strong, long-term relationships and ensuring their accounting and tax needs are met.
- Review and provide feedback on work prepared by Staff Accountants, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and alignment with client objectives.
- Lead regular client calls to review financial performance, identify trends or issues, and provide actionable recommendations.
- Deliver tax planning and consulting services tailored to each client’s unique circumstances.
- Prepare and review tax returns for individuals, S-Corporations, and C-Corporations.
- Maintain working knowledge of payroll and sales tax requirements to address client questions and ensure compliance.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, enhance client service, and support the overall success of the firm.
The Accounting & Tax Manager will possess the following:
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- 3+ years of related tax experience.
- CPA or EA preferred (or working toward designation) preferred.
- Personable, strong phone presence, consultative mindset.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and relevant tax preparation and research software.
