Our client is an organization in the greater Milwaukee area looking for a Finance Manager. Our client is looking for someone with 6+ years of relevant experience, manufacturing industry experience, and is highly motivated.

 

The salary range for this position is $130k-150k +bonus.

 

The Finance Manager will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead the month-end close process for assigned facilities, ensuring accurate and timely preparation of financial statements.
  • Maintain integrity of cost accounting processes, including inventory valuation and variance analysis.
  • Deliver comprehensive monthly performance analysis, explaining results versus forecast and budget.
  • Develop annual operating budgets and roll forecasts for supported locations.
  • Build and maintain financial models to support business planning, capital investments, and strategic initiatives.
  • Monitor and evaluate operational performance metrics
  • Identify trends and improvement opportunities, providing data-driven recommendations to enhance profitability and operational excellence.
  • Ensure adherence to internal control frameworks, including SOX compliance where applicable.
  • Lead and develop finance team members, including recruiting, coaching, performance management, and professional development.
  • Ad hoc projects as needed.

 

The Finance Manager will possess the following:

 

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance or closely related field.
  • 6+ years of accounting and finance experience.
  • CPA license is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of SOX internal control systems.
  • Leadership experience preferred.
  • Manufacturing experience required.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
