Our client is an organization in the Beloit area looking for a Human Resources Generalist. This client is looking for someone with HR experience, who is team-oriented and can multitask.

 

The Human Resources Generalist will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide day-to-day HR support across multiple functional areas, including employee records management, payroll coordination, and benefits administration.
  • Partner with leadership on recruitment efforts, including sourcing, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding new team members.
  • Coordinate new employee orientations and ensure accurate completion and filing of required documentation.
  • Maintain and update the HR information system to ensure accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance.
  • Support initiatives that promote diversity, equity, inclusion, safety, and employee wellness.
  • Act as a point of contact for workplace safety programs and wellness-related initiatives.
  • Collaborate with managers to support volunteer placement and coordination within the organization.
  • Administer employee benefit programs, including eligibility determinations, enrollments, changes, and terminations.
  • Review and process HR-related invoices such as insurance premiums and related expenses.
  • Track and administer paid time off programs, including personal, holiday, and bereavement leave.
  • Communicate HR policies, procedures, and benefit information clearly and consistently to employees.
  • Assist with the preparation and processing of bi-weekly payroll.

 

The Human Resources Generalist will possess the following:

 

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 1+ years of HR experience preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication.
