Senior Accountant
Our client is an organization in the Milwaukee area that’s looking for a Senior Accountant. Our client is looking for someone with 2+ years of experience, organized, and has high attention to detail. The salary for this position is $75K – $95K.
The Senior Accountant will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain and enhance internal controls by documenting, improving, and monitoring accounting processes to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and compliance.
- Support monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial close, including journal entries, account reconciliations, accruals, variance analysis, and general ledger maintenance.
- Prepare financial analyses and reporting, including trend and variance analysis with clear commentary for management.
- Participate in internal and external audits, including audit preparation, workpaper creation, cross-functional coordination, and control monitoring.
- Support cross-functional projects focused on operational efficiency, financial reporting enhancements, and system improvements.
- Administer expense reporting and corporate card programs, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely reconciliation.
The Senior Accountant will possess the following:
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- 2+ years of progressive accounting experience, Manufacturing experience preferred
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and organize efficiently
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong analytical and technological skills
