Our client is an organization in the Rock County area that’s looking for a Financial Analyst. Our client is looking for someone with 3+ years of experience, detail-oriented, and an inquisitive mindset. The salary for this position is $60k – $80k.

 

The Financial Analyst will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage preparation of financial statements and perform detailed financial analysis, applying strong knowledge of managerial, cost, and financial accounting practices.
  • Develop business strategies that drive growth, profitability, and operational efficiency.
  • Analyze financial (cost, BOM, P&L statements, share of wallet) and manufacturing metrics, providing actionable recommendations for improvement.
  • Build, maintain, and present financial deliverables, including budgets, forecasts, and quarterly reports to executive management.
  • Support forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis to provide insights for strategic and operational decision-making.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to monitor key performance indicators, identify trends, and support continuous process improvement initiatives.
  • Support ad hoc financial analysis and special projects as assigned by management.

 

The Financial Analyst will possess the following:

 

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • Bachelors degree in accounting, CPA or CMA preferred.
  • 3 years+ of relevant experience, with strong preference for a manufacturing background.
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to effectively communicate accounting concepts and strategies.
  • Working knowledge of manufacturing and business intelligence systems, JD Edwards, Insight Software or SAP – Business Objects knowledge is a plus.
  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, including advanced Excel skills.
