Our client is an organization in the Milwaukee area looking for an Accountant. Our client is looking for someone with 2+ years of accounting experience, strong analytical skills and detail oriented.

 

The salary range for this position is $75k-90k.

 

The accountant will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Prepare and post journal entries for month-end and year-end close
  • Perform account reconciliations (bank, balance sheet, and selected P&L accounts)
  • Assist with preparation of monthly financial statements and internal reports
  • Support budgeting and forecasting processes as needed
  • Maintain fixed asset records and calculate depreciation
  • Assist with AP/AR oversight, including reviewing transactions and resolving discrepancies
  • Support audits by preparing schedules and responding to auditor requests
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal controls
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and assist with implementing efficiencies
  • Maintain accurate documentation and accounting records

 

 

The Accountant will possess the following:

 

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or closely related field.
  • 2+ years of accounting experience.
  • High detail of attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
