Our client is an organization in the Waukesha County area that’s looking for a Tax Associate. Our client is looking for someone with 2+ years of experience, who is highly organized, and has excellent attention to detail. This company offers flexibility, a tenured team, and a collaborative culture. This position is hybrid.

 

The salary for this position is up to $70K – $120K.

 

The Tax Associate will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Analyze and prepare federal and state income tax returns for designated clients.
  • Assist with tracking and generating responses and notices regarding federal, state, and local tax issues.
  • Researching various tax issues and taking a lead role on assigned projects.
  • Plan efficient tax strategies for defined clients serving as a primary tax resource.
  • Work collaboratively with the team and proactively seek guidance, clarification, and feedback.
  • Ensure clients comply with IRS regulations and meet their state and federal tax obligations.
  • Provide operational and administrative support to the Tax team.

 

The Tax Associate will possess the following:

 

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • Bachelor’s degree with an emphasis in finance, accounting, or math.
  • 2+ years of related tax experience.
  • Possess the ability to work quickly, multi-task priorities, and meet deadlines with accuracy.
  • Work independently yet possesses the flexibility to work with a team.
  • Analytical with strong attention to detail.
