Project Accountant
Our client is a construction company in the greater Milwaukee area looking for a Project Accountant. Our client is looking for someone with related experience, ability to take initiative and work independently, and has strong attention to detail.
The salary range for this position is $70k-80k.
The Project Accountant will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
RESPONSIBILITIES
- This position reports to the finance manager.
- Track finances as it pertains to projects within the organization.
- Daily maintenance of AP transactions including invoicing, workflow and disuptes.
- Reconciliation of AP to the general ledger.
- Process bi-weekly payroll.
- Budget creation for projects.
- Provide flexibility based on reporting and analysis needs.
The Project Accountant will possess the following:
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Associate degree in accounting or equivalent.
- Proactive problem-solver with strong decision-making skills.
- Manufacturing experience a plus.
- Ability to organize and prioritize responsibilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
