Senior Accountant
Our client is an organization in the Ozaukee County area that’s looking for a Senior Accountant. Our client is looking for someone with 3+ years of experience, organized, and who has excellent attention to detail. The salary for this position is $80K – $90K.
The Senior Accountant will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead the monthly close process and prepare accurate, timely financial statements.
- Oversee general ledger activity, ensuring data integrity and compliance with accounting standards.
- Prepare and distribute periodic financial and management reports.
- Perform account reconciliations and detailed financial analysis.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to establish and improve accounting processes and controls.
- Approve vendor invoices in the ERP system and manage weekly check runs.
- Support and oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable functions and staff.
- Develop financial reports and automation tools using NetSuite, Excel, and Power Query.
The Senior Accountant will possess the following:
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
- 3+ years of progressive accounting experience.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting in a manufacturing environment.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
