Manager of Accounting and Financial Reporting
Our client is an organization in the Milwaukee County area that’s looking for a Manager of Accounting and Reporting. Our client is looking for someone with 5+ years of experience, analytical, and has excellent leadership skills. The salary for this position is $135K – $145K
The Manager of Accounting and Reporting will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead global consolidation and financial reporting, ensuring accuracy, U.S. GAAP and SOX compliance, and timely intercompany reconciliations and eliminations.
- Prepare and review external filings (10-Q/10-K) and related SEC disclosures.
- Research technical accounting issues and provide clear recommendations and documentation.
- Drive process improvements and automation to enhance consolidation and reporting efficiency.
- Partner with global finance teams to provide training, guidance, and oversight on reporting requirements.
- Collaborate across Finance, IT, and Operations on strategic initiatives including system implementations, upgrades, acquisitions, and integrations.
- Work effectively with senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholders globally.
- Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and company policies.
The Manager of Accounting and Reporting will possess the following:
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting is required.
- CPA credentials required.
- 5+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience with direct experience in global consolidation and financial reporting.
- Strong technical knowledge of U.S. GAAP, intercompany accounting, and SEC reporting.
- Hands-on experience with financial consolidation systems (e.g., SAP BPC, OneStream, HFM, or equivalent).
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with a strong attention to detail.
