Our client is an organization in the Milwaukee County area that’s looking for a Tax Manager. Our client is looking for someone with 5+ years of experience, self-motivated, and has excellent leadership skills. This company offers flexibility, competitive benefits, and a great work/life balance. This position is hybrid.

 

The salary for this position is up to $130K – $175K.

 

The Tax Manager will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Review and file tax returns for new and existing clients, including individuals, small business and trust returns.
  • Conduct tax research and stay current on tax law changes.
  • Provide accounting, tax consulting, and financial planning services to clients.
  • Provide guidance and mentor other tax staff.
  • Identify and respond to client issues in a timely, accurate, positive, and professional manner.
  • Research tax issues and respond to tax authority inquiries.
  • Provide leadership and insightful recommendations surrounding a broad range of complex issues by leveraging expertise and experience.

 

The Tax Manager will possess the following:

 

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of experience.
  • EA or CPA required.
  • Exceptional written, verbal, and technical skills required.
  • Excellent communication and relationship building skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, colleagues and vendors.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining a positive attitude.
