Our client is an organization in the Dane County area that’s looking for a Corporate Accounting Manager. Our client is looking for someone with 6+ years of experience, analytical, and excellent leadership skills. This company offers a collaborative culture, competitive benefits, and a great work/life balance. This position is hybrid.

 

The salary for this position is $90K – $145K

 

The Corporate Accounting Manager will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversee all accounting processes, including month-end close, reviewing monthly reconciliations, variance analysis, intercompany eliminations, etc.
  • Serve as the liaison between corporate accounting, business units, and management.
  • Train and mentor team members, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
  • Manage cash flow, including forecasting, monitoring liquidity, and optimizing working capital to support business needs.
  • Perform analytical review of operating results to ensure the accuracy of accounting records.
  • Ensure proper accounting treatment of transactions and financial statement presentation in accordance with GAAP.
  • Own and optimize accounting software and systems, including ongoing maintenance/enhancements, used to automate accounting and reporting processes.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and company policies.

 

The Corporate Accounting Manager will possess the following:

 

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting required. CPA certification strongly preferred.
  • 6 years of progressive experience; ideally a combination of public and corporate accounting experience.
  • Extensive knowledge of Excel and accounting software.
  • Experience implementing and integrating ERP systems a plus.
  • Self-starter who can creatively solve problems.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
