Tax Manager
Our client is an organization in the Milwaukee County area that’s looking for a Tax Manager. Our client is looking for someone with 5+ years of experience, self-motivated, and has excellent leadership skills. This company offers a flexibility, competitive benefits, and a laidback, friendly culture. This position is hybrid after training is completed.
The salary for this position is up to $100K – $130K.
The Tax Manager will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Review tax returns for individuals, businesses, trusts, estates, and non-for-profits
- Identify and respond to client issues in a timely, accurate, and professional manner
- Communicate advice and answer questions of other associates relating to accounting and tax situations
- Communicate proactively with clients and engagement partners regarding project status, client service opportunities, and other significant matters in a timely manner
- Proactively seek out new business opportunities with both current and prospective clients by participating in various business development activities
- Provide leadership and insightful recommendations surrounding a broad range of complex issues by leveraging expertise and experience
- Mentor and coach tax staff to build expertise and professional growth
The Tax Manager will possess the following:
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Master’s degree in Taxation preferred, CPA required
- 5+ years’ experience providing tax compliance and consulting services
- Successful track record mentoring and supervising staff
- Highly proficient with technology, including Microsoft Office applications, QuickBooks and ProSystem tax software
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Commitment to outstanding client service
