Our client is an organization in the Milwaukee area that’s looking for a Regional Controller. This company is looking for someone with 7+ years of experience, who is inquisitive, and an excellent leader. This company provides a collaborative culture, flexibility, and competitive benefits. This position is onsite.

 

The salary for this job is $150k – $190k.

 

The Regional Controller will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead plant-level accounting and cost accounting functions across three manufacturing plants, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP and company policies.
  • Manage standard costing, variance analysis, and reporting on manufacturing performance, including labor, overhead, and material costs.
  • Partner with plant leadership to analyze financial performance, identify cost-saving opportunities, and support operational decision-making.
  • Oversee inventory accounting, cycle counts, and physical inventory to ensure accuracy and integrity of plant financial results.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual plant financial statements and ensure timely submission.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling for plant operations.
  • Ensure effective internal controls and compliance with corporate policies, procedures, and external audit requirements.
  • Mentor and develop accounting staff supporting plant operations.

 

The Regional Controller will possess the following:

 

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; CPA or CMA preferred.
  • 7+ years of progressive experience in accounting, including cost accounting and plant/operations finance leadership.
  • Prior Plant-Level manufacturing industry experience required.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP, internal controls, and cost accounting principles.
  • Excellent analytical skills with ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.
  • Proven ability to partner cross-functionally with operations and senior leadership.
