Our client in Monroe, WI is looking for a temporary Senior Cost Accountant! They could start someone asap and need support until they fill the open permanent position.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform cost accounting activities to support month-end close

  • Update and maintain pricing books

  • Conduct variance analysis to identify and explain cost drivers

  • Update labor and burden rates to ensure accurate costing

  • Partner with internal teams on cost-related initiatives

  • Perform P&L analysis and balance sheet analytics

  • Support ongoing process improvements and cost control initiatives

Requirements: 

  • Strong analytical and systems skills

  • Cost experience preferred but not required

  • 5+ years of accounting/finance experience 

  • Strong Excel skills
