Accounting Manager
Our client is an organization in the Racine County area looking for an Accounting Manager. Our client is looking for someone with 5+ years of experience, analytical, and who has strong interpersonal skills. The salary for this position is $110k – $130k.
The Accounting Manager will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversee and mentor accounting staff and monitor performances.
- Manage certain month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Interface with internal and external auditors on quarterly reviews and year-end audit.
- Responsible for segregation of duties compliance.
- SAP system master data maintenance and control over accounting periods.
- Process owner for certain global finance standard practices.
- Assist with Global financial statement consolidation and elimination process, as well as cash flows preparation and analysis.
- Assist with various P/L and balance sheet analysis and reviews.
The Accounting Manager will possess the following:
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Undergraduate degree in Accounting required, CPA is preferred.
- 5+ years of related experience required, previous supervisory experience is preferred.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and Excel skills.
- SAP/HFM (Hyperion Financial Management) software skills a plus.
- Must possess strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
