Senior Financial Analyst
Our client is an organization in the Milwaukee area that’s looking for a Senior Financial Analyst. Our client is looking for someone with 2+ years of experience, strong communication skills, and who is motivated. The salary for this position is $75k – $95k.
The Senior Financial Analyst will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Participate in monthly, quarterly and annual close process with an emphasis on data analysis, while providing audit support to internal and external audit groups during the closing process.
- Provide variance analysis on internal financial information (purchase price, order close, product costs; and inventory changes).
- Take responsibility for coordinating the manufacturing plan, working with management to develop allocations for the annual financial plan.
- Analyze annual product cost changes and new product costs providing support to internal customers, identifying problem areas and make recommendations for corrective actions.
- Assist in financial forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis to identify trends and provide actionable insights.
- Perform other duties as needed.
The Senior Financial Analyst will possess the following:
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting.
- 2+ years of relevant experience, preferably in Manufacturing.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) required.
- Intermediate experience with AS400 or other ERP system required.
- Intermediate knowledge in MicroStrategy preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
