Responsibilities:
- Place purchase orders based on schedules and job requirements
- Use software to review material needs and export data into Excel
- Perform calculations in Excel to determine purchasing needs based on current and upcoming jobs
- Manage 3–4 schedules and update purchasing plans accordingly
- Track and monitor bulk materials being ordered and delivered
- Maintain clear and professional email communication with suppliers regarding late POs, delivery schedules, and upcoming orders
- Monitor supply chain status and communicate proactively with the Plant Manager and other internal stakeholders about any issues or risks
- Ensure timely material availability to avoid disruptions in production
Requirements:
- 5+ years of manufacturing industry experience
- Buying/purchasing experience highly preferred
- Strong organization and communication skills
- Immediate availability!
