Our client is an organization in the Waukesha County area that’s looking for a Controller. This company is looking for someone with 5+ years of leadership experience, detail oriented, and ambitious. This company provides a relaxed work environment, a great work/life balance, and a collaborative culture. This position is onsite.

 

The salary for this job is $115k – $125k.

 

The Controller will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Prepares assets, liability, revenue and expense journal entries by compiling and analyzing transaction information.
  • Oversees transactions related to accounts receivable and accounts payable.
  • Identifies opportunities for reductions in operating and non-operating expenses.
  • Reconciles financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.
  • Prepares special financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends.
  • Implements cost accounting system for allocating costs between various product lines.
  • Maintains accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures.

 

The Controller will possess the following:

 

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field.
  • 5+ years of leadership experience as an Accounting Manager or Controller.
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is strongly preferred.
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics is strongly preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • High level of attention to detail & accuracy.
