Our client, fast-growing real estate organization, is looking to add a motivated Financial Analyst to its team! This is an exciting opportunity to join a tight-knit, high-impact finance group supporting a multi-billion-dollar portfolio. Ideal for someone with strong analytical skills and a passion for FP&A, this role offers the chance to take on meaningful responsibility, collaborate directly with senior leadership, and grow in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment. Local candidates only – this role is not open to relocation.

 

Work arrangements: Chicago, IL (Hybrid, Remote Mondays & Fridays)

Salary range: $75,000–$85,000 base + competitive bonus

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with senior leadership to build and maintain budgets, forecasts, and dynamic financial models
  • Perform deep-dive variance analyses and deliver insights on key performance drivers
  • Develop dashboards and reports using Excel and Power BI to support executive-level decision-making
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with departments like Investments, Asset Management, and Construction to analyze capital expenditures and commitments
  • Contribute to earnings preparation and investor-facing deliverables
  • Support high-impact initiatives with ad hoc analysis and modeling

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree required
  • 2–3 years of experience in FP&A
  • Advanced Excel skills required; experience with Power BI or data visualization tools is a big plus
  • Real estate experience preferred
  • Strong communication skills and the confidence to work with senior stakeholders
  • A collaborative attitude with a humble, roll-up-your-sleeves mentality
