Our client is an organization in the Milwaukee area looking for a Senior Accountant. Our client is looking for someone with 3+ years of experience, organized, and independent. This company offers a hard-working team, a great work/life balance, and flexibility. This position is onsite.

 

The salary for this position is $70k – $90k.

 

The Senior Accountant will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide analytical support by providing consistent and meaningful financial information, reporting and analysis.
  • Perform bank and various GL account reconciliations, journal entries, and monthly accounting reports.
  • Prepare all internal and external financial reports, including special reports as requested.
  • Participate in monthly business reviews.
  • Assist with the annual operating and capital budgets and forecasts.
  • Assists with the proper filing of all federal and state tax returns and reports.
  • Assists with other duties and projects as assigned.

 

The Senior Accountant will possess the following:

 

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field. CPA preferred.
  • 3+ years of relevant experience required. Healthcare/NFP experience a plus.
  • Extensive knowledge of Financial Management software and systems.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
