Our client is an organization in the Milwaukee area looking for an Accounting Manager. Our client is looking for someone with 6+ years of experience, detail-oriented, and is an excellent leader. This company offers a great culture, flexibility, and fun office perks & events. This position is hybrid.

 

The salary for this position is $120k – $140k.

 

The Accounting Manager will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for all journal entries and supporting account analysis and reconciliations.
  • Perform a full range of managerial responsibilities including interviewing & hiring, coaching & developing, planning, etc.
  • Ensure controls are in place, general ledger accounts are reconciled, and overall data and system integrity is maintained to GAAP standards & company policies.
  • Provide training on the accounting processes with new and existing employees.
  • Develop processes and support efforts for month-end close.
  • Support financial planning & analysis team with annual budget process.
  • Other duties as assigned.

 

The Accounting Manager will possess the following:

 

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or business-related field.
  • 6+ years of related experience including prior managerial/leadership experience.
  • CPA license and strong understanding of US GAAP and familiarity with IFRS.
  • Experience with Sage Intacct, Salesforce, and Salesforce Billing a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent written/verbal communication skills.
