Accounting Manager/Assistant Controller
Our client is an organization in the Kenosha County area looking for an Assistant Controller. This company is looking for someone with 5+ years of experience, analytical, and has excellent problem-solving skills. This company provides flexibility, a growing organization, and a collaborative team. This position is hybrid.
The salary for this job is $125k – $150k.
The Assistant Controller will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare financial statement to summarize and forecast the financial status.
- Produce and manage balance sheets and analyze future earnings and expenses.
- Assist with financial statement preparation and analysis.
- Assist with the management of accounting, auditing, and budgeting.
- Help reconcile accounting inaccuracies or imbalances.
- Prepare reports for upper management.
The Assistant Controller will possess the following:
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field. CPA preferred.
- 5+ years of related experience.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and procedures.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and accounting software.
- Continuous improvement mindset and an exceptional problem solver.
