Our client is a financial organization in the Jefferson County market looking for a Tax Accountant. This company is looking for someone who has 1+ years’ experience in public accounting, a bachelor’s degree in accounting, and willingness to be a team player in a small firm. The Tax Accountant will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform corporate, partnership, individual, trust and estate tax returns.
- Work with clients from beginning to end of engagement.
- Manage a significant process, project or process improvements within the Tax Department and ensure timely, accurate and complete performance.
- Analyze client financial information, assess needs, and determine strategies.
- Prepare and review financial statements.
The Tax Accountant will possess the following:
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or closely related field
- 1-3 years of experience in public accounting
- Experience in financial statement preparation preferred
- CPA highly preferred
- Ability to build and maintain client relationships
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
