Our large, private and global manufacturing client is seeking a Staff Accountant to join their team! The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in accounting, full-time accounting experience, and a team-oriented attitude. This is an on-site role and only local applicants will be considered.
Responsibilities include:
- Responsible for day-to-day general ledger management, journal entries, account reconciliations and reclassifications
- Contribute to the month-end close process
- Utilize SAP for month end close and fixed assets
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Implement and monitor compliance of accounting policies and procedures
- Assist in process changes
Job Requirements:
- BA/BS in Accounting
- 6+ months of accounting experience
- Manufacturing/distribution experience is preferred
- Ability to interact with multiple levels of management
- SAP experience is preferred
- Fixed Assets experience is preferred
