Senior Staff Accountant
Our client is an organization in the Jefferson County area looking for a Senior Staff Accountant. Our client is looking for someone with 4+ years of experience, analytical, and organized. This company offers room for growth, good work/life balance, and a laid back culture. This position is hybrid.
The salary for this position is $85k – $95k.
The Senior Staff Accountant will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Analyzes cost information to determine present and future financial standards and product cost information.
- Perform and prepare analysis of annual cost change.
- Assist in annual financial and internal control audits as well as continuous review of tasks and processes to ensure compliance.
- Analyze and track inventories, manufacturing variances, and product costs.
- Reconciling inventory to the General Ledger each period by due dates.
- Perform other duties as needed.
The Senior Staff Accountant will possess the following:
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting. CPA/CMA preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products suite.
- 4+ years of related experience.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Experience with JD Edwards and NetSuite preferred.
