Our client is a large global manufacturing company that is looking for a Senior IT Auditor to join their team.  This position will provide a experience with different technologies and is a great opportunity for the ideal candidate to put their personal stamp on the organization!   With a large and growing accounting and finance team, there is significant opportunity for growth and advancement within the organization.  The company boasts a team-oriented culture, great benefits and provides its’ employees with the tools and training necessary to succeed. This position will work a hybrid schedule with the ability to work at the Milwaukee or Chicago office.

The Senior IT Auditor will participate in IT, business operations, compliance and financial audits. The Senior IT Auditor will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • The Senior IT Auditor will lead IT internal audits and advisory projects.
  • Inspect accounting systems to determine their efficiency and protective value.
  • Plan and execute IT general and application controls reviews; IT security and governance reviews; J-SOX reviews and controls optimization.
  • Develop and execute risk-based audit programs, procedures, and techniques for auditable activities.
  • Plan and define projects, identify risk areas, develop appropriate audit plan, document findings, and reports per IIA standards.
  • Coordinate IT risk assessment and IT audit plan execution.
  • Analyze data obtained for evidence of deficiencies in controls, duplication of effort, extravagance, fraud, or lack of compliance with laws, government regulations, and management policies or procedures.
  • Coordinate in-house vulnerability testing, risk analyses and security assessments and remediation.
  • Evaluate the design and effectiveness of controls throughout the business and provides client-focused value added recommendations in a clear manner to stakeholders.
  • Help define, implement and maintain corporate security policies and procedures.
  • Partner with IT management and other business owners to enhance IT control environment.
  • The Senior IT Auditor will assist with other duties as assigned.


The Senior IT Auditor will possess the following:

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
  • The Senior IT Auditor will have 3+ years’ audit experience in public accounting or with a publicly held global manufacturing company.
  • Prior supervisory or project lead experience and demonstrated leadership and employee development experience.
  • Competent with software applications such as SAP, Microsoft Office and Audit Command Language (ACL).
  • The Senior IT Auditor will have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Information Technology, Computer Science, or other related field.
  • CPA, CISA, or other related professional certification desired.
  • Willingness to travel up to 30%.
