Our client is a large, public supply chain services and distribution company that is looking for a Senior Accountant to join their team. This is a newly created position due to growth of the company. The role will be FULLY REMOTE and the company offers unlimited PTO and other competitive benefits!

The Senior Accountant will be responsible for preparing and reviewing quarterly external reporting requirements, including various SEC filings. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:

RESPONSIBILITIES

• The Senior Accountant will be responsible for the review of disclosure schedules.
• Preparation of schedules used for footnote disclosures.
• Preparation of quarterly presentation for earnings call.
• Maintain XBRL tags for 10-Q and 10-K filings.
• Review purchase accounting and related disclosures for new acquisitions.
• Review monthly financial statements and results of operations.
• Perform accounting research for various issues as needed.
• The Senior Accountant will perform ad hoc reporting and work on special projects as needed.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• CPA or working towards CPA certification highly preferred.
• The Senior Accountant will have 3+ years public accounting or public company experience.
• Experience with SEC reporting and related requirements. Strong knowledge of US GAAP.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels of the organization.
• Advanced working knowledge of Excel and Workiva.
