Senior Accountant
Our client is an organization in the Washington County area looking for a Senior Accountant. Our client is looking for someone with 3+ years of experience, organized, and analytical. This company offers flexibility, room for professional growth, and competitive benefits. This position is hybrid.
The salary for this position is $65k – $80k.
The Senior Accountant will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manages daily and month-end accounting operations such as accounts payable functions, accounting of fixed assets, financial reporting, etc.
- Prepares and reviews journal entries.
- Assists with monthly financial and operating reports.
- Conducts financial analysis and provides insights to support business decisions.
- Updates process documentation and assists with lead process improvement efforts.
- Prepares documentation for annual financial statement audit.
- Perform other duties as needed.
The Senior Accountant will possess the following:
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field. CPA preferred.
- 3+ years of relevant experience required. Healthcare/Hospice industry experience preferred.
- Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills.
- Intermediate proficiency level working in Excel and various accounting software programs.
- Ability to pass DHS background study.
