Senior Accountant
Our client is an organization in the Milwaukee area looking for a Senior Accountant. Our client is looking for someone with 2+ years of experience, analytical, and motivated. This company offers flexibility, a collaborative team, and room for professional growth. This position is hybrid.
The salary for this position is $75k – $95k.
The Senior Accountant will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist with the annual audit and half-year review, including creating work papers, monitoring key controls, and creating financial reports.
- Research accounting issues in compliance with GAAP and other regulations.
- Participate in the annual budgeting process.
- Support timely monthly and year-end financial close, including assigned journal entries, balance sheet account reconciliations, accruals, etc.
- Support various cross-functional and cross-departmental projects.
- Perform other related duties as needed.
The Senior Accountant will possess the following:
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, CPA preferred.
- 2+ years of relevant experience.
- Knowledge of IFRS preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to handle multiple projects, work under pressure, meet tight deadlines and perform in a fast-paced work environment.
