Our client is a leading real estate organization in the Beloit market is looking for a Senior Accountant. This company is looking for someone who has a bachelor’s degree in accounting and knowledge of real estate and GAAP. With a large and growing accounting and finance team, there is significant opportunity for growth and advancement within the department. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Prepare and review journal entries with GAAP requirements
  • Reconcile, research, and resolve discrepancies of balance sheet accounts
  • Perform monthly income statement and balance sheet analysis
  • Reconcile quarterly and annual physical counts
  • Monitor, analyze and record construction projects

The Senior Accountant will possess the following:

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • Bachelor’s Degree in accounting or closely related field
  • Knowledge of real estate and GAAP
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; MRI experience preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
