Our client is an organization in the Green Bay area looking for a Payroll & Benefits Manager. This company is looking for someone with 5+ years of payroll and benefits experience, strong problem-solving skills, and has ability to multi-task. The pay range for this position is $80-100k.

 

The Payroll & Benefits Manager will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead payroll and benefits specialist and manage payroll functions.
  • Accurate and timely bi-weekly payroll processing for employees.
  • Proper calculation and submission of garnishments and other deductions.
  • Develop team members through sessions, project work and other opportunities.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and government regulations.
  • Determine annual benefit offerings with partners and confirm rates.
  • Meet with benefit consultants on plan design.
  • Work with specialists on premium notices to employees on leave to collect premiums and coance coverage.
  • Distribute required annual notices to employees.
  • Review 5500 filing for the health plan.
  • Update payroll provider rate in third-party systems.
  • Lead projects and strategic initiatives.
  • Perform other duties as needed.

 

The Payroll & Benefits Manager will possess the following:

 

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • 5+ years of payroll and benefits administration.
  • UKG experience preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license with ability to travel to and from facilities.
  • Multi-state and local tax experience preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

This role may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary incentive program, subject to the rule governing the program.
