We are assisting a manufacturing company in the Port Washington area with finding a full-time interim Senior Accountant/Accounting Manager for the next 2-3 months. This position will be a hands-on resource reporting to the CFO and assist with tasks ranging from month-end close, journal entries, financial reporting and system conversion testing. Position is on-site, five days a week and full-time.  Please apply for immediate consideration. We are looking for someone to start as soon as March 27th. 

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Compile and analyze financial information to prepare entries to general ledger accounts.
  • Directly assist the owner with month-end close procedures.
  • Perform account reconciliations.
  • Assist the accounts payable, receivable and payroll team members.
  • Testing of data within ERP system IQMS.
  • Ad hoc projects as assigned by CFO.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
  • Bachelor’s in Accounting required, CPA a plus.
  • At least 5-10 years of GL Accounting experience.
  • Experience with ERP systems required. IQMS experience a plus.
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
  • Need to be independent and have excellent written and verbal communication skills
