Our client is an organization in the Madison area looking for a Human Resources Manager. This client is looking for someone with 15+ years of human resources experience, leadership experience, and strong interpersonal skills. This company offers a close-knit team and strong leadership. This position is on-site.


The Human Resources Manager will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:



  • Oversight of recruiting talents, employee relations, payroll administration, compensation management, annual benefits, administrative leave, and more.
  • Collaborates with leadership to develop and implement HR strategies.
  • Directs performance management process to include one-on-one meetings, coaching, and encouragement.
  • Submits data for salary analysis surveys.
  • Crates wage and salary reports to upper management as needed.
  • Creates, implements, and administers policies, procedures and new programs.
  • Address employee relations/concerns and provide recommendations.
  • Prepares and analyzes HR reports for executive teams.
  • Prepares and submits government reporting related to employment and wages.
  • Develops and implements departmental budget.
  • Demonstrates and follows company values.
  • Ad hoc projects as needed.


The Human Resources Manager will possess the following:



  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources or closely related field required.
  • 15+ years of progressive human resources experience.
  • 2+ years of leadership experience.
  • SPHR or SHRM-SCP certification.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong decision-making skills.
  • Ability to advise managers with appropriate coaching and decision making.
  • Ability to adapt to organizational needs.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and delegate.
