Our client is seeking a well-rounded Human Resources professional to join their small but mighty team on a permanent basis. This person will be responsible for HR, office management and clerical accounting duties and will have three direct reports (clerical office staff). 

This company offers summer hours (year-round when they can!), a supportive and collaborative work environment, and work-life balance as there is rarely overtime.

  • Handle HR duties including onboarding, new hire orientation, benefits administration, unemployment, workers’ comp, and employee relations.
  • Accounting duties include record keeping, reconcile bank accounts, daily cash receipts, maintain the general ledger, warm collections calls and reporting.
  • Ensure billing and AP are entered into the system on time and accurately. 
  • 2+ years of human Resources experience.
  • Experience in office management and clerical accounting is preferred.
  • Ability to lead a team and have excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Basic Excel skills required (formulas, sorting, formatting, filtering, etc)
