Grants Manager
Our healthcare client is seeking a Grants Manager to join their team on a temp-to-hire basis. This position reports to the Controller, offers advancement opportunity and requires strong technical accounting skills.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage full grant cycle, including writing and submitting letter so inquiry and grant applications, grant reporting, leading grant management activities and tracking reporting requirements.
- Research, identify and evaluate government funding opportunities and prepare memos to upper management.
- Create and maintain grants management system.
- Facilitate grant proposal processes.
- Provide regular updates on grant activities, prepare reports, and maintain knowledge of grant funding policies.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- 5+ years of accounting experience required, ideally in government or grant accounting.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business Administration is required.
- Strong computer skills and experience in automated accounting systems.
