Our client is an established CPG company looking to add a passionate and collaborative Cost Accounting Supervisor to lead two Sr. Cost Analysts. You will be responsible for cost accounting & managerial activities.

RESPONSIBILTIES:

• Lead a team of two senior analysts through mentoring and coaching analysts
• Consolidate the analysts’ forecasting/variance analysis up the Manager
• Responsible for cost accounting activities for one plant location
• Analyze operations to identify process improvements within the cost accounting function
• Oversee project management of key initiatives for the Cost Accounting Manager including projects for senior leadership
• Lead ad-hoc projects to support and drive the business
• Analyze monthly variances and communicate findings to key stakeholders
• Oversee monthly forecasting process and provide input to the team
• Lead various processes related to annual planning and budget cycles

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
• 3+ years of Accounting experience and 1+years of people leadership experience
• Strong desire to work in a dynamic finance environment
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects concurrently
• Strong experience with Microsoft Excel
• Travel up to 5%
• This position must pass a post-offer background and drug test.
