Corporate Accountant
Our client is an organization in the Winnebago County area looking for a Corporate Accountant. Our client is looking for someone with 2+ years of experience, analytical, and driven. This company provides a stable and growing organization, collaborative team, and room for growth and development. This position is onsite.
The salary for this position is $70k – $80k.
The Corporate Accountant will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare and complete financial transactions timely and accurately according to accounting processes and procedures.
- Respond and resolve operational issues and ensure stakeholders’ requirements are met.
- Analyze general ledger accounts for accuracy and/or unusual items.
- Reconcile general ledger accounts to comply with SOX requirements.
- Prepare weekly and month end journal entries to ensure accurate account balances.
- Other duties or special projects as needed.
The Corporate Accountant will possess the following:
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Bachelor degree, preferably in accounting.
- 2+ years of related experience.
- JDE and FAS experience a plus.
- Work independently and in a team environment.
- Excellent problem solving skills and math skills.
